see i have come to the conclusion that for my school talent show i would like to do the interrogation scene from the dark knight. But i don’t want this to be some lame overacted skit, i want people to be Absolutely convinced that there seeing the next best thing to the great Heath Ledger’s performance. so what i wanna know is what did Heath do to become the joker. I don’t care what i have to do i want to be the real deal, i wanna show people what i have. What heath did was get so much into character that he needed heavy meds which killed him in the end, I doubt you’d like that.

make a pop up style book and pass it around. there are tons of creative pop up ideas. i’ve always gotten A’s on them. and instead of crowding a poster you can have nice open pages. it’s a great visual aide.

life turned out not as i expected and now i feel disenchanted?

everyone i know has lead better lives than me, how do i deal with this ?
growing up i was enchanted with life, i was going to do this, and hopefully achieve this etc . - but because of a lot of misfortunes and now reaching the age of 32 -
i dont feel those things anymore , the world to me has turned out to be disappointing in my experience - and ive achieved nothing i wanted so far .
im 32 , have aged in my face, - have minor body disfigurements through accidents years ago, a crooked little finger, 2 missing teeth at the front lower bottom and -
i have to say that my life has turned out rather disappointingly so far . suffered injustices, adversity’s , made critical mistakes , squandered away years , been into prison 11 years back, have a long psychiatric history , behaved in a violent conduct years ago - and as such of all this, i have missed out on a NORMAL life . a life of ; - building relationships with people , being employed , getting qualifications and most other things - the things that matter.
dont get me wrong , my life hasn’t been as bad , compared to some people .
i have obviously survived up to now but its been very difficult to say the least -
the scenario now, more or less is :
ive lived alone for 6 years in a 1 bedrooom flat on disability, owning ‘ few ‘ material belongings - getting help for my difficult psychological problems , accept my diagnosis , hoping to get another test to see if i have anxiety disorders - which i suspect - i see a support worker weekly , which makes me feel like a RETARD because im a 32 year old adult - im hoping to get psychotherapy but have to do the support worker appointments first.
it has been pretty tough for me . - ive survived yes , only through inner strength - but ive achieved NOTHING i wanted to do - and got nothing i hoped for.
i feel insecure about my future , empty, lonely , and a sense of profound loss -
when i browse facebook and see all my old class mates that have done well, seemed to have lived average normal lives , most of them have had partners , have LIVED , travelled , have kids , are in work, enjoying their lives - one pretty blonde girl i remember ‘ louise ‘ - she had a crush on me in school ( back when i was cute and flawless ) - now lives in australia , has a good job -
i saw a picture of her with a big happy smile holding what looked like her little boy , she had sunglasses on and was standing on a sunny street that looked like ‘ ramsey street ‘ from the show ‘ neighbours ‘ - with a blue sky and fluffy clouds in the background.
i felt like crying , seeing reflected back at me the life i always wanted , hoped for , but never got .
a deep sense of loss and sadness engulfing me , in my dark , one bedroomed apartment.
the only things that keep me going are my ‘ remote ‘ dreams , the hope of attaining a good paying computer job, to build meaningful relationships then finally to move to a quiet coastal village near a seaside town somewhere.
but to me, those goals seem impossible.
can anybody feel my sorrow here ? and just ….what will i do type despair ?
Your life isn’t over. You’ve probably got a good 50 or more years to live. So, with that said, here are a couple of suggestions.
What you’re experiencing is a bit of depression and a sense of your own mortality. You’re going to get older, but you can also get smarter. Go to school. Get a trade. Find a way to accomplish the goals you set for yourself. If you think they are unattainable, then they are. However, if you push yourself, you’ll see that you can do it. How do I know? Because I went back to school when I was 36. I’m in my forties now and am working on getting a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Why? Because I want to do it. I’m only going to get older, but I don’t have to whine about it. It’s taking me a while because school costs so much. However, if you’re on disability, you may be able to get some type of assistance for an education.
Reassess your goals. Set new ones. If you want to be something by the time you’re 35, work for it.
Understand that your life is not over and that you have many years ahead of you. Do it for yourself. And remember that there are people your age who have never been married as well. You’re not the only one.

anyone have any thoughts/feelings/comments on the swedish melodic death metal band, In Flames?
MY thoughts: they get alot bashing about them selling out and being to americanized on the last album "a sense of purpose". i still think that they’re still melodic death metal BUT they have changed gradually since reroute to remain into becoming kinda like alternative metal (BUT STILL metal) with melodeath influences. they have kinda lost the original gothenburg sound but i still love them and i think they’re still great.
MY fav albums: jester’s race, clayman (1st fav and greatest IMO), reroute to remain, come clarity and soundtrack to your escape

What to bring to basic training?
I’m shipping off to Army BCT in two weeks and to OCS right after it.
My Dad has been in the Army my whole life, my friend has been in the Army for about a year and some change, my brother in law has been in the Army for like 5+ years, my sister has been in the Air Force for about 2 and my wife’s cousin has been a Marine for the past three.
All of them are telling me something different and my damn recruiter tells me something different every time I ask him. At this point I just want to show up with the clothes on my back and a few shaving razors.
Can anyone tell me exactly what I need to bring with me to BCT?
they give you everything you need, some stamps would be smart.

Anything you NEED you will be able to buy at the PX, my boyfriend when he left took the clothes he was wearing and an extra pair, travel size shampoo, toothpaste, etc (he was at the hotel the night before shipping out). He also took some stamps in his wallet, his debit card, and like 20$ cash. Your recruiter should have a list of everything you should take, ask him about it. Anything you take will be locked up once you get there anyways. My boyfriend did take his cell phone, which obviously was also locked up but he did get to use it everytime they had phone time.

You are quite correct in what you say, just take your favourite razor and toothbrush with you, everything else you need will either be supplied with your uniform etc. or will be readily available from the camp stores.

personal Hygiene things such as soap, shaving gear, toothpaste and brush, the clothes on your back and some stamps. even at that you will have your civvies lock up so you can’t wear them. anything you bring that is not needed will either be confiscated or locked up, so bring as little as possible.

There are packing lists on different site throughout internet bring everything on those list!! One thing I do suggest is a good pair of running shoes, seeing how you will be doing PT every morning and running at least three times a week. They will provide a chance to buy some when you get there but the selection isnt as great as if you went and found your own.
Another thing to keep in mind is when you arrive at basic training they will provide you with a card called EAGLE CASH, and you will be able to use it like a credit card. It will have $250 on it that money is taken out of your first check. However what you dont spend will paid back to at the end of basic training.
PHONE CARDS, are like gold, I dont know how many chances you will be given to use a phone but I had ample chances, it all depends on where you go.

Anyone know how to get rid of acne-scars? And fast!?
My friend complains constantly about her face and when people call her crater face, she runs and cries in the restroom. I really need help and advice on how to get rid of acne scars, or at least name some brands that may help. So I can buy it for her and so that people can stop taunting her. It makes me angry to see her in the shadows with people laughing at her, and I’ve gotten suspended three times defending her, and in that case I got into fights. I can’t keep ruining my grades and attendances to fighting and getting into trouble.
Help me out on this one someone! I really want to help her without me getting into trouble and at the same time make her happy that I can find something for her.

Try pure lemon juice, apply it with a cotton swab. If it stings too much dilute with a little bit of water, thats also how ot get rid of freckles.

wow, all this because of acne. look, kids are cruel, they’ll find any reason to make fun of you and your friend, even after the acne’s gone. you should tell the administrators, give names, give details, talk about how severe the bullying is ,but if you attack, it doesn’t do anyone any good, they only look at you as the bad guy, so don’t get defensive anymore. let them talk, act like it doesn’t bother you guys, just kinda whisper in each others ears and laugh, that’ll bother them. they wanna know whats so funny and if they attack, there’s no law against whispering. you’re the good guys.
i used to have bad acne in middle school. nothing would work. when i got to high school, my face cleared up a bit, but even now, i still have small scars on my chin where the acne cracked, bled, scabbed, then healed. when i got on the pill, my skin cleared up much better. but your friend should ask to see a dermotologist to seek different treatments for acne.

okay i used to have acne scars really bad and you should see my face now. its like i never had them. you need to fnd a cream that bleaches your face. I got mine from mexico and it didnt have a brand name so i really cant tell you what its called. but for ex at cvs they sell face bleachers. or if you go to like one of those mexican stores that sell products from mexico you can ask if they have any face bleaching cream. or even request to them if they can bring it. i cannot recommend anything other than this because i have really sensitive skin and nothing eles worked for me. good luck and i hope ur friends scars go away!

Is my best friend falling for me?
Well, we’ve been really good friends for 9 years, He helped me move into the house I currently live in, I’ve lived in this house for 10 years now.
Well, we had stopped talking, but I’d say hi to him every time I saw him, and he randomly just started texting me about random things like romance and people falling for each other and how we were stupid for liking the people we liked back then.
He told me that I shouldn’t just sit around waiting for the right guy to walk by, I should go out and explore and see what I like. Then I said, "You act like you’ve met the girl of your dreams," and he replied saying, "I have, I’m just waiting for her to realize it." I said, "May I ask who this mystery girl is?" and he replied, "No, I’m keeping it to myself."
Why did he have to leave me on a cliffhanger? Does he like me? Why would he have brought up the girl and then not tell me?
He used to always tell me who he thought was hot and who he thought was ugly and who he had feelings for and who he was dating, and I’d give him advice…I don’t know why he’s acting like this.
No idea what to tell you! I would not read too much into it and getting any ideas because then next thing you know you get your hopes up and he is actually into someone else! Eek.
