I don’t believe in banning the garb, but I do believe that security and police have the right to see under the veil and that identification pictures (driver license, passport, etc) should be taken without any covering over the face.
Otherwise, I consider a ban on these garments to be grossly discriminatory.
Sure, France can enact a ban, but then again, the French are highly discriminatory towards the Muslims, and always have treated the "algiques" as second-class citizens.

how much is my warhammer 40k army worth?
i have realised i don’t enjoy 40k and have decided to give up but i cant decide wt 2 sell my army for. sooo i was hoping someone here could give me an idea of its worth. it can make between 1000 - 1500 points and i will be selling the codex too. here’s a list of what i have.

Clearly someone has never played a wargamer and dosent realise how social a hobby it is….
There are a few factors that will determine how much youll net for an army, so i cant tell you an exact price without seeing it. This is the best way to work it out. First job is to completly dirregard any conversions because unless they are very good noone will want them, so dont factor them in.
Now add up all the cost of the models you have (use the GW website) and divide that by half, and ask yourself how well youve painted them. A mediocre paint jon will fetch you about 50- 60 % of original price, a god one between 75% to greater than the original cost and a poor job will fetch mabye 30% at best.
Also, if there are any troop units (as in not single model / HQ units) with out of date models, this may furthur reduce your cost.

The conversions, unless of very high quality, are essentially worthless.
If the models are well-painted, based and in good condition, you can expect to get between ?70 and ?100, obviously depending on who’s looking and for what.
If they are adequately painted and based, then perhaps ?50.
If the paint-jobs are of below tabletop quality, necessitating a considerable amount of paint stripper and elbow grease on the part of your buyer, then maybe ?30.
I am a professional painter and modeller and I recently sold ?450 of space marines for less than ?200, despite having a high-quality standard. Still, it paid for Christmas!

Both of the estimates provided above are very good answers, but I had to throw in my two cents and suggest that once you have a baseline price you’re estimating it to be worth, try eBay - you might end up fetching a lot more for the models. Just make sure to take high quality photos, and I have to agree, leave out the conversions.

Illawarra Toyota - Cheats and Liars - how do I complain effectively?
We purchased a used car from Illawarra Toyota on the 15/01/2010. When they issued us with the registration papers the registration on the paperwork was was clearly not the same rego plates on the car! We spent a week and half calling them to issue new paperwork with no response. I then emailed them asking for this to be done. They reissued the paperwork and it was incorrect again!
Additionally they also agreed to fix a scratch on the car when we purchased the vehicle we put this on the paperwork this was not done and they have promised to give us the contact details of someone who will fix the scratch but still no arrangements have been made and no details been given. As a result of not having the correct paperwork we can not transfer the car into our name, endangering our insurance and we will incur a fee with the RTA as it has been more than 14 days since purchase. We also can not transfer a parking permit to the new car without the registration papers and so have incurred a parking fine. I have asked for them to reissue the paper work with the correct number plate of BE16NC, with the correct purchase price of $17 750 and a more updated date of sale of the 29/01/2010. I emailed this request to the salesmen, general manager and the senior business manager and no one has got back to me with a solution.
We continue to receive NO response either email or phone and it is obvious that going direct is not working. We have lodged a complait the Fair tradding - BUT who else can we raise this matter with …. Toyota HQ, ACA, ????

Thousands are now having this trouble with Toyota. They sold me a high end demo and claimed it was new on paper. When the front struts went out at only 6000 miles they claimed there was nothing they could do because it was a demo and wasn’t therefore covered. Never buy a Toyota. Toyota is a foreign company.Americans continually forget this. Their loyalty is not to Americans, it is to themselves. it sounds like you r talking to a wall here. That’s a bad business practice for the dealer. hopefully no one else buys from them. they should be out of business because they deserve this. have to tried the court system. sue them for all the headaches and any fines you had to pay because of them.

Over emotional 3 year old?
help I am lost at what to do…
Here is the situation…almost 2 years ago my son joined the military,his wife decided she no longer wanted the kids (they were 17 months & 3 weeks at the time) I took them in.The youngest is happy go lucky, but the oldest,which is 3 now seems to be overly emotional and I am not sure how to handle it. It has seemed to get worse the older she gets. She cries about everything from having to eat,falling,getting into trouble or even going to the bathroom. When I 1st got her she would cry if anyone but me said hey. She has gotten better about that but still doesn’t like ppl she doesn’t see on a regular basis. At 1st I thought they were tantrums and have been ignoring it but lately it’s like she’s wanting to cry and holding it back. Like this morning at breakfast she didn’t want to eat but wanted chocolate milk ( if she drinks before she will not eat) so I gave her water & told her when she ate a little I would give her chocolate milk. She acted like it broke her heart. I could see the tears in her eyes while she was holding them in. She did eat & I gave her the milk but later I ask her why she was crying she said I hurt her feelings. I ask why and she said because I was mad at her. She doesn’t play well during the day unless I devote 100% attention to her, which is hard because I also have the 21 month old. She is always saying she’s sad,but if I ask why she says she don’t know.She can be sitting with me and bust out crying for no reason & if I ask why are you crying she says I don’t know and this happens a lot. Also when I tell her not to do something she shakes like crazy. I have never spanked her so I don’t know why she acts so scared ( She has done this ever since I 1st got her). I always try to make sure I treat both girls the same. If me or anyone leaves the room that she likes she will cry don’t leave me.I have talk with her Dr. about counseling but he says she’s to young. Her mother has only visited a few times since she left them and there father has been stationed in NY & hasn’t seen them. I have adopted the youngest but the father will not sign the papers for the oldest. I love these two girls as if they were my own and it breaks my hurt to think she’s hurting & not knowing what to do. I feel guilty because I have ignored it this long thinking they were tantrums. There have been times I thought maybe she need extra attention and tried to give it but it seemed to make her worse like she did it for even more attention. So…please help me..What do I do? Is this normal? Is it tantrums or is there a real problem? I have raised 4 children of my own ( all grown) and never have I had one to do this.Just needing some advice..
im not really sure, i think most her age go through this. maybe try putting her in to day care to see how she is with other kids her age. i think she has a right fear of been left behind because of her mother leaving them and her father not been there. i would see a different doctor if u can, there are child counseling places

This really doesn’t seem healthy, normal behavior to me. It was probably traumatic when her Mother gave her up even though she can’t express it or explain it. Maybe she was also abused by her. I suggest an appointment with her pediatrician and perhaps follow-up with a counselor. The Dr. will be able to recommend one. Thank God the children have you. It sounds as though you really love them.

I am going through this exact thing.. I went to see a child psycol.. and she said that the child his having seperation issues because they are well aware of the big change and the feeling of abandonment even at such a young age… mine was 16 months now 3 and half… you have to insure her that you are there and she is a blessing to you and your not going to anywhere.. mind you in three year old language… make her life seem as stable as possible ex. put up drawings she has done on the walls make sure to hang a lot of pictures of her in your house… let her help pic out veggies or sides for dinner say mashed potatos tonight or mac and cheese with the chicken… make her feel like she has some control over what is going on to her (not to much) but she will feel needed and included in your life… if you don’t nip it in the bud now she will have issues in school and with society good luck.. its not easy to figure out how to do all this because if your anything like me you feel like you already to it… I have noticed changes small but we are getting there.. she doesn’t cry so much … still very attached to me but is starting to open up with other people…

This totally sounds like it is the result of abuse and separation. Children learn a TON in that first year and a half of life, and hers was unstable.
I think you need to talk to a child development specialist, or early childhood psychologist.

Blood+ on dvd questions?
I went to amazon.com and I was planning on getting the 2 box sets of blood+. I’ve been looking at them, and gathering info, like price, and stuff. But some things I still am wondering.
1. Do the 2 box sets include the WHOLE series from beggining to end?
2. Can you just get the dvds, cuz I can really do without a t-shirt.
3. The last episode only being in japanese problem, it says that the subtitles are in english, and Im fine with watching in english subtitles, but the box set 2 which(if the final episode is on it) it says that box set 2 only has subtitles in english???I read a comment that you CAN watch it in english subtitles. So conflict, and confusion?
4. and finally is the amazon thing isnt worth it, is there a place where I can buy the box sets w/out the t-shirt just the dvds, speacial features, extras,(all that sh**) other than amazon?? Prefearbly cheaper..

What reasons do you believe were the end result of this Super Bowl Game?
I believe poor field position and poor protection for the Patriots were huge contributors to the end result.
Is it me or did it seem Patriots defense after their final scoring drive were nonchalant by playing loose, picking up Giants players, and patting them on their helmets between plays as if they had the game locked?
The biggest play in my opinion was the scramble play on 3rd and 5 with 1:15 on the clock with the completion from Manning to Tyree (incredible catch) in final Giants drive.
Lastly, Brady finally looked rattled in this game.
What reasons do you believe were the melt down of the Patriots?
Spy games will be in question.

I think Brady either tweaked his ankle in the 3rd quarter or hurt his shoulder a little when he fumbled, he did try to unload that ball when his arm got stopped quick. No i’m not a Pats fan either, hell i’m from Buffalo we hate those guys.
